Popular Nepali folk singer Kehm Raj Gurung passed away on Thursday in the Capital after a battle with liver infection. He was 41.Singer Gurung was admitted at Chabahil-based Medicare Hospital for treatment of his liver infection.”Khemraj is no more with us. Doctors involved in his treatment have confirmed his death,” Gurung’s acquaintance Kamalikant Bhetwal told the Post.Born in Sankhuwasabha district, Gurung had recorded 12 music albums. The daily closure of Narayanghat-Mugling road section for road widening drive has been lifted from Wednesday. The road section was closed from 11 am to 3 pm every day for upgradation. The Narayanghat-Mugling highway experiences the heaviest traffic load in the country, accounting for 90 percent of Nepal’s total international trade traffic.
