Teej is observed for marital happiness, well-being of spouse and children and purification of own body and soul. Teej is the most famous festival among Nepali women.


Last year, Jyoti Magar grabbed the attention of audience from her dance performance on the song Dhade Biralo which was one of the main attractions of Teej festival. And this time she is coming back with a brand new song which is sung by her which will also feature Samjhana Budhathoki’s dance performance on the song. Jyoti Magar and Samjhana Budhathoki will be dancing together on the song which is releasing this week. Jyoti Magar who returned back to Nepal after a concert at various countries, she has recorded a new Teej song which is releasing this week. Kalinchowk Music Company will be releasing this video song this week which is based on Teej festival. Song is a catchy number which is sure shot to grab attention of audience as well as will get into chartbusters.

The director Kushal is doing the new and nice jobs and she also found new things in her music video she is satisfied with the music video upon that it will be creating nicely. The music video shoot is in different places of the London. The lyricist Nripesh Upreti said that they became able to capture Anju in the music video after long time. Kushal who is director of this video is currently residing in London.

Jyoti Magar is a Nepali lok dohori singer, model, and an actress. Jyoti Thapa Magar have set a new trend on Nepali folk music.Lok Dohari or folk songs are meant to carry our culture and tradition but some of these new singers have dared to break the tradition and create a beautiful fusion of classic and modern taste. She started her professional musical career in 2006 and since then, she has given a number of hit albums and has travelled extensively within and outside Nepal to perform in stage programs.
Born in remote village of Rukum and educated in western city of Dang, Jyoti Thapa magar used to sing since she remembered and continued singing at school as well. She has also said that she comes from a family that deeply loved music, though not professionally involved in it.
Now she has been one of the busiest artist in Nepal as she is not just a folk singer but is interested in dramas, ethnic movies, music videos, stage shows and many more. Jyoti Magar has travelled in many countries of Asia, the Middle East and Europe to perform in musical stage programs mainly organized by non-resident Nepali organizations abroad.
