Late one evening, a husband and wife were enjoying a romantic drive along a lonely mountain road. They were just rounding a sharp bend when a little girl came tearing out of the bushes by the side of the road. She stood right in the path of their car, holding out her hands and crying loudly.The husband was so shocked by her sudden appearance that he almost ran over her. Luckily, he managed to swerve at the last moment and avoid her. Glancing in his rear view mirror, he saw her running off into the darkness. She couldn’t have been more than 6 or 7.When they had calmed down, the couple began to dicuss what they had just seen.
