An aircraft of Makalu Air has met with an accident in Rauterana of Humla district at around 4 pm on Thursday. The single-engine aircraft with Sign 9N ALD saved from major accident as it was safely force-landed after technical glitch in its engine was witnessed. The aircraft was flying to Surkhet from Simikot, the district headquarters of Humla. It is said that pilot Sange Lama and co-pilot Prashanta Shah sustained minor injuries. The injured pilot and copilot are airlifted to Kathmandu by a Simrik chopper.
