Nepal beats Netherlands by 19 runs

Skipper Paras Khadka played a captain’s knock with both the bat and the ball as Nepal defeated the Netherlands by 19 runs in the second match of fourth round of the ICC World Cricket League Championship held at the VRA Ground in Amstelveen on Monday. Khadka made 84 runs of 94 balls smashing 7 fours and a six as Nepal posted a commendable 217 runs target for the Netherlands. He also sent two Dutch batsmen back to the pavilion, Chasing the target, the Netherlands managed to get only 198 runs of the board losing all wickets in 48.3 overs.
Full squad – Paras Khadka (c), Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Anil Mandal, Raju Rijal (wk), Binod Bhandari, Sagar Pun, Rajesh Pulami, SunilvDhamala, Basant Regmi, Shakti Gauchan, Sandeep Lamichhane, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Bikram Sob The team led by Paras Khadka as usual has a mix of 3 seamers and 3 spinners as all six bowling members of the UK tour are retained. Likewise, Anil Mandal retains his spot after some decent contributions as Subash Khakurel was the man chosen as the one to make way for Dhamala. The remainder of the team is kept as same as the selectors have opted for a single change
